Jersey Electricity Company Environmental Award

Making a positive sustainable difference to the environment in which we live and work will be central to the aims of organisations hoping to win the Jersey Electricity Company Environmental Award.

The judges are seeking organisations who are able to demonstrate a sustainable approach to their activities, which could include:

1. Leaving a positive legacy to our environment
2. Markedly reducing the impact of their activities on the environment
3. Creating a long-term sustainable environment
4. Programmes which have put the environment at the heart of your organisation
5. Using good environmental practices to improve the business                                                                 
6. Making best use of financial resources to deliver maximum sustainable impact

The judges are keen to encourage organisations from large businesses, small businesses and those within the voluntary or charity sectors and will therefore be judging separately the three categories before awarding the Jersey Electricity's Environmental Award to the overall winner.
