Guiton Group Ambassador of the Year Award

Every one of us should be an ambassador for Jersey, extolling the virtues of its environment, thriving economy and quality of life. What we say, how we say it and who to, are important factors when promoting the Island.

This award aims to encourage and reward the promotion of Jersey beyond our shores and the Guiton Trophy will be presented to the person who has created the most recognition, or brought the greatest credit, to our Island.

Winners of this award have come from very different walks of life, including the political and sporting arenas, however, it is open to anyone who meets the criteria.

Nominations may be made by individuals or organisations and should be accompanied by a brief description of the reasons for nomination relating to that person's activities during 2009. There are no restrictions except that the Award will not normally be presented to any person or group who is paid to promote the Island.
